Benidorm’s economy was once based on agriculture and fishing, it was originally made what it is by the Arabs, who not only named it but also left a lot of influences in the area. It’s amazing how well the old buildings of the area cope with the modern ones, there’s no competition really, the old ones are always more beautiful!

Have fun in Benidorm

Although Benidorm used to be a simple fishing village, a lot has changed since then. It’s not the place to go just to see museums and other attractions which are similar. This town has been transformed, into something which is a very popular tourist destination.

There are now many seafront hotels and lovely Spanish food which is very interesting to everyone, especially those who are retired. Many families also found out that it was fairly inexpensive to get to this area, and so it could be a very good, but inexpensive family holiday. They quickly found some fantastic beaches where their children would love going. Once families started going the government and local businesses started investing in more family friendly forms of entertainment, including theme parks, animal parks and water parks.

Aqualandia Water Park This is located in the middle of the city and can be reached by bus, or sometimes walked to depending on where your hotel is.
