We have never been on a cruise before, but we’re pretty sure you will not want to go on a ship with 5,000 passengers, and assigned seating, etc are the best times to go in June and September? That’s when prices are higher. Is there really much to do in these river cruises? They are full of stuffy old rich people? Is the food good?
